This trek takes you deep into Mae Chaem, a highland jungle region rising to around 2,000 meters above sea level cooler air, dense forest, and a raw, authentic wilderness experience. Designed for travelers who want something real, the route focuses on quiet trails and unspoiled landscapes rather than tourist-heavy paths. You’ll not only explore remote jungle trails, but also get to experience unforgettable nights in the forest sleeping under the stars in nature, far from the noise of the city. Led by a highly experienced local trekking team with over 31 years in the field, the program is built around comfort, safety, and what guests actually need at your pace, with genuine local insight. If you’re looking for an adventure that feels remote, authentic, and truly different from the typical Chiang Mai trekking routes, this is the one! Day 1 : - Hotel pick-up at your hotel between 7:00–7:30 AM - Head to a local market to buy fresh ingredients for jungle cooking. - Ethical Elephant care experience: help shower and feed the elephants - After a 30-minute drive from the elephant camp to Mae Chaem district, embark on a trek through the remote jungle. - Cook your lunch with bamboo in the Jungle - Learn about the ecosystem and jungle survival, how traditional animal traps are made. - Trek to the campsite, nestled among scenic rice fields with 2,000-meter mountain views. - Night walk under the moonlight to explore the jungle and check the traps (experience-based activity). - Overnight in a bamboo hut with a hill-tribe family. Day 2 : - Breakfast - Visit Baan Kae, a traditional Mong hill tribe village. - Jungle trekking for around 4–5 hours and enjoy lunch in the jungle. - A 30-minute drive from Mae Chaem district to the Pong Lom Raeng area. - Enjoy scenic viewpoints with beautiful landscapes and mountain ranges - A traditional lantern release at your camp. - Enjoy dinner and an overnight in a bamboo hut stay with a local red Karen tribe family. Day 3 : - Breakfast - Trekking for around 2–3 hours - Lunch - Swimming and relaxing at a natural jungle waterfall. - 30-minute bamboo rafting trip along the river. - Return to Chiang Mai around 5:00–5:30 PM
